Google Contacts has a slightly more complete interface than Google Phone, but it allows us to control how we interact with our contacts as much as possible.

You can create new labels and sort and organize your contacts by them. From here we can delete duplicate contacts, restore contacts from other accounts and even from backup copies of old phones (this last function is fantastic), import them from files extracted from Gmail, or export backup copies of our contacts.

In addition to these options in the ‘Fix and Manage’ section, with the new update we can customize ringtones for contacts from here. This option now appears next to emergency contacts, family groups, and blocked numbers.

As you can see, Contacts is a much more complete app than the Phone app itself. With the latest update, it has become easier to use and we can add a personalized tone to the person we want in just a few seconds.
