The recently released macOS Sonoma 14.4 update faced many issues. USB hubs and devices stopped working on Macs and Java stopped working on Apple Silicon Macs after updating to macOS Sonoma 14.4. Apple offers a solution to these problems with the macOS 14.4.1 update and has bug fixes and security improvements. Users can apply this update now, but it may take a few hours to appear on all Macs.
The new Mac update macOS 14.4.1 is now available. Users can perform this update by going to System settings go, Generally and then continue Software update click. The update with build number 23E224 is now rolling out, but it may take several hours to appear on every Mac.
This new macOS 14.4.1 update fixes bugs including USB hubs not being recognized on external displays, apps using Java not working, and Audio Unit plug-ins for professional music apps not opening.
