A few days ago we told you that Diablo IV would be getting an update to implement ray tracing, and today I can confirm that said update is finally available. Diablo IV will use it with him ray tracing to create shadows and reflections, which will enable a significant improvement in graphic quality, and we will be able to compensate for its impact on performance with DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation technologies. Latency won’t be a problem either thanks to NVIDIA Reflex.
Let’s have fun by activating ray tracing in Diablo IV a more organic and immersive experience. For example, the different graphic effects of our abilities and everything that happens when we fight the infernal hordes will be reflected in pools of blood and in water, shadows will have a softer and more realistic appearance, and both different cities, such as smaller and darker dungeons, will show excellent graphic quality.
Blizzard confirmed that it worked with NVIDIA to optimally implement ray tracing in Diablo IV, and this game has already been included in Game Pass, so you can play it at no additional cost if you are a subscriber to the service.
The NVIDIA RTX ecosystem as well has grown with recent releasesNew games that use DLSS 2 and DLSS 3 technologies. Among the most important launches that took place in the month of March, we can highlight:
Base: Infinity Siege It is one of the latest versions as it was only released yesterday. This title supports DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS 3 Frame Generation and NVIDIA Reflex. Thanks to these technologies, we can multiply power up to 3.3 timesand with GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER we can push it to more than 100 FPS in 4K.
List of games and applications compatible with NVIDIA RTX technologies, including ray tracing and the NVIDIA DLSS ecosystem, It currently exceeds 500 titlesand as we can see, it is constantly growing. These technologies are important because they not only allow us to enjoy greater graphical realism, but also significantly improve performance.
