At the annual TIDE Sprint 2024 conference in Dresden, which supports the development of military IT systems, the Innovation Center of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented solutions for the digitalization of NATO standards.

As Ukrinform reports, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported this.

“The theme of the event was changing approaches to waging war. The priority tasks of countries in this direction until 2030 are the conduct of mutually compatible joint operations (including the participation of the civil sector and promising technologies), as well as the importance and feasibility of transferring combat information systems to cloud storage. In the message It is stated that it has already been tested in combat conditions by Ukrainian military developers.

The developer of the DELTA system, Major Elizaveta Boyko, reported at the conference that today Ukrainian troops are using all possible technologies to gain an advantage over the enemy, and the Innovation Center is creating modern IT products.

“It is they who allow us to have an informational advantage, increase the coordination and efficiency of our forces and, most importantly, manage operations remotely, with less risk for people. Innovation is solving existing problems with new tools,” he added.

The center’s delegation demonstrated how to digitize existing NATO standards with the help of cloud computing and big data processing, and also shared their experience in developing the DELTA battlefield management ecosystem.

The processes of improving cybersecurity, as well as the technology of drone integration into the DELTA system and the Ministry of Digital, partners with the NGO “Aerorozvidka” and the company Cossack Labs.

“DELTA accelerates decision-making and provides an advantage over the enemy on the battlefield. We are constantly working to expand its functionality by introducing tools based on artificial intelligence. The world does not yet have the experience of using technologies that Ukraine has already successfully used on the battlefield. The use of robots on the front lines is a separate phenomenon.” Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko summarized the results of the event.

As reported, DELTA is a unique ecosystem of military products developed by the military for the military and built to NATO standards. It allows you to see the battlefield in real time and shows air, land and sea conditions on a digital map. The system allows you to exchange information within the unit, brigade and, if necessary, with allies.
