Israel criticized Albanese, saying he “delegitimation of the very creation and existence of the State of Israel“. Albanese denies the allegations.

“The only reasonable conclusion that can be drawn from the disclosure of this policy is that Israeli state policy of genocide and violence against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip“.

Report accuses Israel of committing ‘acts of genocide’

After analyzing Israel’s patterns of violence and policies in its attack on the Gaza Strip, the paper concludes that Israel is intentionally committing at least three “acts of genocide” is defined as such in the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

These would be “murder of group members”where more than 30,000 Palestinians have died in five months of conflict, “serious physical or mental harm to group members”and “intentionally provoke in a group conditions calculated for its physical destruction partial or complete.”

Serious physical and mental harm will be proven, among other evidence, by more than 70,000 Palestinians were injured in the conflictor for deliberately creating shortages of medications, which in the most severe cases led to the need for amputations without anesthesia.

Embargo, investigation and recovery

Based on its findings, the United Nations Rapporteur’s report will request the Human Rights Council Immediate arms embargo on Israeland move to the side independent investigation human rights violations in the Gaza Strip.

It will also call for action to strip repair warrantyincluding full payment by Israel and “complicit” states for the reconstruction of Gaza, as well as the deployment of an “international protective presence” in the Palestinian territory to prevent continued violence against the population.

The report will be published exactly two months after the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the UN court in The Hague, in a preliminary ruling asked Israel to take all necessary measures to prevent genocide in the Gaza Strip, although it has still not determined whether whether there is such a genocide in the strip, since such a conclusion could take years of process.
