MSI announces a new series of All-in-one PC Modern series

The Taiwanese manufacturer refreshes its line of MSI Modern AIO computers with two new models AM242TP and AM272P. They are characterized by the integration of top safety and performance features together with the elegant and efficient design typical of this type of machine.

“All-in-One” AIOs have been on sale compared to other desktop PCs, such as typical towers or Mini-PCs, but still have a legion of followers who appreciate their aesthetics and design, adding electronics and a display screen on a single device, thus excellent surface cleanliness is achieved.

MSI Modern AIO

MSI offers two versions depending on the screen size, AM242TP 1M 24″ and AM272P 1M 27″. Both feature IPS panels, EyesErgo technology, narrow bezels, native FHD resolution, an optional touch panel, and anti-blue light and anti-flicker features. They have height and tilt adjustments, and the top model includes an HDMI input and output that would allow it to function as a second monitor.

The manufacturer has updated its internal hardware to Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, with models to choose from Core 7 150U, Core 5 120U and Core 3 100U. They include integrated Intel UHD graphics or more powerful Iris Xe.

They can fit up to 64 GB DDR5 memory and for internal storage it has M.2 SSD drives as well as SATA ports for SSDs or additional hard drives. The included dTPM 2.0 module provides an additional layer of security by offering a dedicated chip for cryptographic operations. This protects sensitive information and ensures a secure computing environment.

As regards connectivity, we see support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless standards, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, HDMI and Kensington Lock security slot. They also include a webcam and 2.5-watt stereo speakers.

MSI Modern AIO pre-installs Windows 11 Home and the manufacturer includes additional features such as AI Engine to improve performance and efficiency; MSI Cloud Center, which enables fast, secure and wireless backup and download between computers and Android and iOS devices, or Tobii Aware, which improves user privacy and security.

No price has been given for these devices, which are very interesting for hybrid work environments, home offices and generally for any user who likes these “all-in-ones” on their computer desks.
