Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahuconfirmed this Friday that the President has approved arrivals in the coming days to Doha (Qatar) and Cairo (Egypt) high-level delegation discuss ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and release of hostages in the hands of Palestinian militias.

“On the issue of negotiations for the release of hostages, the Prime Minister spoke with head of Mossad and head of Shin Bet and authorized delegations on his behalf trip to Doha and Cairo continue negotiations in the coming days,” said the statement collected by Jerusalem Post.

The Prime Minister made it clear to those in charge of his intelligence and security services, both at home and abroad, David Barnea (head of the Mossad) and Ronen Bahr (Shin Bet), that they would have “Room for maneuver” in upcoming negotiations.

Barney will lead the Israeli delegation to the Doha talks, while Bar will head to Egypt, Netanyahu’s office added.
