Samsung introduced Galaxy AI as well as One UI 6.1 on its recently released Galaxy S24 series smartphones. The brand promised to launch Galaxy AI on older flagships in March and has delivered on that promise with new updates rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series smartphones, as well as the Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 series.
Key AI features deployed:
- Chat assistant: This feature offers suggestions for improving grammar and expressions when texting. It supports 13 different languages.
- Circle to search on Google: With this feature, you can circle an object or area on the screen to find more information.
- Productive editing: users can remove unwanted elements from photos, reposition objects in images, and adjust perspectives for a more refined composition.
- Instant slow motion: This feature applies AI processing to convert standard videos into slow motion.
- Translator: split screen conversation mode helps you communicate in real time between people speaking different languages.
- Live translation: Provides real-time translation for both voice calls and supported messaging applications.
- Grade Help: It summarizes text in Samsung Notes and can even apply certain formatting styles to the summary.
- Transcript Help: Works with Samsung Voice Recorder to transcribe audio and tag multiple speakers. It can also create a summary of these records.
- Edit offers : offers personalized photo editing suggestions.
