Earlier this week, Microsoft made the Moment 5 update (KB5035942) generally available for Windows 11 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2 operating systems. It includes not only new features but also fixes for known bugs. In addition, the developers fixed a bug that could reduce performance and cause periodic blue screens of death (BSOD) to appear on computers with AMD processors.
After installing the March Cumulative Update for Windows 11, some users noticed a number of issues, including a general decrease in performance and BSODs. There were messages about such problems on the software giant’s thematic forums and support pages. Microsoft has now resolved these issues by adding the relevant fix to the KB5035942 package.
Note that this update is optional, so it is not installed automatically. Users can find it through the Windows Update Center or by using the official Microsoft Update Catalog on the Internet. If for some reason you cannot find this package yourself, it will be included in the next cumulative update, which will be automatically installed on all compatible computers with Windows 11 next month.
