Winlator 6 is a new version of one of the best existing developments for running Windows games on Android devices. Something that isn’t easy to achieve as you can imagine given the hardware, screen and driver limitations of a smartphone compared to a full PC.

By default, the app looks for games (provided by the user) in the “Downloads” folder on your smartphone, but this can be changed to another folder in the settings. You can also change Box86/Box64 behavior or install Wine Mono in the general configuration of the application, which will be necessary for games using the .NET framework.

Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, Call of Juarez, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Oblivion… are some of the titles that work with a good experience. Quite an achievement considering they aren’t ports native and that we will play them from an Android mobile.
