The AI image generator Dall-E has surprised us several times with the quality of images the tool can deliver, but sometimes the result is not what you are looking for. From now on, it will be easier for Dall-E to make adjustments to images without having to start from scratch. OpenAI announces a new text-based image editing feature for Dall-E.
The function appears when you click on a generated image. This will open a new chat window where you can request more specific adjustments to the image. click on Choose to highlight an area in the image and tell Dall-E what exactly you want to see there. For example, you can customize the background or add or remove certain objects.
Step by step you will finally reach your desired image. It is not possible to perform operations manually yourself.
The image editing function is available for both Dall-E 2 and the new version Dall-E 3. Since February, OpenAU’s Dall-E 2 registrations have been closed and free credits will no longer be replenished for those who have already created an image account. Dall-E 3 is available in ChatGPT if you have a paid Plus subscription.
