Microsoft Priva is a service that helps companies address the challenges of data protection management. To further automate this service, Microsoft has added five new solutions:
- Priva privacy reviews: This solution forms the basis for your data protection and automates the detection, documentation and evaluation of personal data across your entire data environment.
- Priva data protection risk management: This application helps users simplify the identification of unstructured uses of personal data. You can automate risk mitigation based on self-defined policies.
- Priva Tracker scanning: Allows companies to automate the detection and categorization of tracking technologies (such as cookies or pixels) on their websites. This allows companies to troubleshoot, monitor, and easily resolve tracker violations.
- Private consent management: This tool provides a solution to strengthen your organization’s consent management and publishing capabilities.
- Applications for the rights of private individuals: gives organizations the ability to automate the processing of data subject rights requests, whether in their on-premises, hybrid or multi-cloud environment.
These new automated features are intended to help companies meet their privacy requirements for their personal data. “Priva’s ability to monitor and take appropriate action on related workflows provides a proactive approach to data protection,” said Jon Kessler, vice president, information governance, Epiq Legal Solutions at Microsoft.
