The Brave1 cluster is seeking more support to develop effective drones that can shoot down enemy reconnaissance drones.
In this respect According to Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Education, Science and Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov informed Telegram.
“Orlan, SuperCam or ZALA reconnaissance drones above the front line are the eyes of Russian artillery and attack UAVs, so a solution must be found to shoot them down without wasting air defense assets. Therefore, we are looking for developers and engineers to create a drone that can shoot down enemy reconnaissance drones ” the message reads.
Fedorov emphasizes that a development that can hit targets at an altitude of 1,500 meters and at a speed of 100-150 km/h will be discussed. Additionally, the solution must show how the interceptor receives preliminary information about the target from the detection system, takes off, finds the target and begins tracking it, as well as how the enemy drone engages itself.
Developments that meet the specified requirements will be sent to Brave1 specialists who will help develop the drone for further studies.
Cluster members as reported Brave1 has developed a remote complex for mine clearance Ratel Deminer, which is considered a priority development for the Security and Defense Forces.
