At the same time, it was not reported exactly what the cause of the work disruption was.

A few hours ago, on the evening of April 3, users around the world reported a massive malfunction in the app. It was noted that Messenger did not send or receive messages, the web version did not load and reported connection problems, and media files did not load.

According to the Downdetector service, 24,000 WhatsApp users in the United States reported an outage at its peak. At the same time, information was also received about the problems in the operation of the Facebook and Instagram social networks, which belong to the Meta company.
