“I believe that the administrators of the leading Ukrainian Telegram channels, the media, state representatives, influential people (people whose opinions are important for the audience) should sit around the table and develop a specific law that would suit all players to stabilize the situation and create uniform rules for the entire market “It is possible that this law will further restrict Russian Telegram channels,” Kovalenko said.

In his opinion, it is a strange situation that Telegram channels in the information sphere work in the interests of Ukraine, and next to them there are channels that spread enemy propaganda.

“Because the situation is such that in the Ukrainian information space, Ukrainian Telegram channels have generally pushed aside Russian channels and contexts and helped us maintain information security. On the other hand, there are Telegram channels whose servers are in Russia,” he said.

Dmytro “Diplomat”, meanwhile, considers attempts to cause panic among Ukrainians due to a possible attack by the Russians as a striking example of the subversive activities of Russian Telegram channels.

“It is strange that for two years it is still necessary to explain what the Russian propaganda machine is really frightening the public with its ‘horror stories’. Understand – this is their job and they do it on purpose. It is natural that the Russian army is larger than ours in numbers and equipment. But we are not standing still “And we are seeing the real results of preparing the second and third lines of defense,” he said.

He believes that if you consume it carefully, it is actually not difficult to separate real information from hostile IPSO.

“It’s very simple; go to Telegram and see; these are Ukrainian Telegram channels and read them. They are pro-Russian and that is understandable. I only read them for work or to laugh at their stupidity. So to distinguish between propaganda and IPSO and to call them In order not to get carried away, just thinking is enough. And there is no need for any law for this,” thinks “Diplomat”.
