However, this is something to be expected, as these “scaled down” versions have become particularly popular as they offer a cheaper entry into what is Samsung’s flagship smartphone year after year.

The origin of this information can be found in The Elec, a media that shares a nationality with and specializes in Samsung information obtained from the supply chain, i.e. the entire set of companies that participate in one way or another in the production process of a certain product. And the fact is that no matter how much the main people responsible for them (Samsung in this case) try to keep the information secret, as the number of agents involved grows, and even more so when their employees do not have a direct relationship with the client, the it is more likely that the information he has access to will be leaked sooner or later.

This case is no exception and what this leak reveals to us is that Samsung has begun assembling the supply chain for the Galaxy S24 FE. More specifically, the information alludes to the fact that Anapass will be the supplier of the integrated display controllers that will be used in the OLED panel that will become the screen of this as-yet-unreleased S24 FE. Of course, this not only tells us that Samsung is again betting on this edition for the current generation, but also tells us what stage we are in, which is pre-production.

We can assume that all the suppliers who will be part of the production supply chain of the Galaxy S24 FE will be selected at this point, although all indications are that there may still be two or three months left (and this is more likely) before the mass production process starts, as there will still be some tests to be done, the prototype to be assembled with the final suppliers and of course also to design all the complex logistics that this type of production entails.
