The report was prepared by Cristosal, the Social Service of the Passionists, the Institute of Human Rights of the Central American University (Iduca), the Salvadoran Network of Human Rights Defenders, the Amate Organization and the Foundation for Research on the Application of Rights (Fespad). .

“Criminalization” of human rights defenders and youth

Monty pointed out that More than 50% of the detainees are young people between 19 and 30 years old.and warned about the growth captures of teenagers from 13 to 18 years old.

He noted that as organizations they had figured out 203 reports of juvenile arrests.
