While I’m not big on recommending browser extensions, I think MaxFocus deserves an exceptionand it responds to a demand which I know is widespread and which I consider more than necessary in my particular case. So much so that I actually think it would make a lot of sense for it to be integrated into the browsers themselves, although I admit that I may be overstating it in that regard and that it makes more sense for them to exist as an add-on.
Be that as it may, let’s get to the point, that is, let’s see what this extension offers us, and from there you can judge whether it will interest you in your particular case as much as I do. So, MaxFocus allows you to preview the content in the link in a floating window, avoiding having to open it to check its contents. And if that already seems interesting to you, the truth is that the way it was implemented makes it even more so.
Available for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox, the download and installation links for each can be found on their websites, which in all three cases will redirect you to their official extension page. Its installation, as is common with this type of plugins, couldn’t be easier and You can start using it with the default configuration. As? Just click on the link you want to preview and hold down the mouse button for just over half a second. This way the preview will appear automatically
As you can see, on the right is a button panel that offers you the following functions:
So as you can see MaxFocus is a fairly simple extension that is very useful. Of course, we have to keep in mind that it is very, very recent, its first version was released only yesterday, so it is possible that its operation is not yet as stable as one would like.
