11 apps and services have been added to the conflicting list. When detected on PC Windows 11 24H2 stops the update process. The list includes EaseUS Disk Copy for cloning hard disk sectors and partitions, StartAllBack for changing the appearance of Windows, Multi-Mon for managing a computer with multiple monitors, and even completely innocent-looking drivers Realtek USB, AMD Radeon and Apple iCloud application. Here is the full list of programs and services that interfere with the installation of the upcoming Windows 11 update:

  • ConisioAdmin.exe (Solidworks PDM);
  • EaseUS Disk Copy.exe (EaseUS Disk Copy Application);
  • ep_dwm.exe (ExplorerPatcher) as of 22H2;
  • iCloudServices.exe as of 23.H2 (iCloud files available via WhatsApp in Explorer);
  • RadeonSoftware.exe (AMD GPU performance tuning) as of 23H2;
  • StartAllBackCfg.exe (StartAllBack) as of 22H2;
  • Multi-mon+Co-Pilot (Microsoft);
  • MergeSdb (Microsoft);
  • Intel IntcOED.sys (Intel);
  • Intel IntcAudioBus.sys (Intel) (%WinDir% System32drivers IntcAudioBus.sys);
  • Realtek 8192su Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter (Realtek) (%WinDir%\System32\drivers\RTL8192su.sys).

It’s quite likely that at least some of the above apps and services will work. Windows 11 24H2. According to the XDA-Developers portal, some users delete the same StartAllBack program before updating the Windows 11 operating system, and after installing the update, they reinstall the program and rename its executable file.

The major Windows 11 24H2 update is not expected to be released en masse until the second half of this year. Until then, Microsoft as well as the developers of the applications on the list will undoubtedly be working on fixing the errors that prevent the update from being installed.
