“The IAEA today informed the Zaporozhye NPP about the drone attack at the factory training center adjacent to the site,” indicates a message from the UN nuclear agency regarding X.

Since the beginning of the war, Russia and Ukraine have repeatedly accused each other of jeopardize nuclear safety, while the IAEA warned that an attack on the plant could lead to a “nuclear incident”.

Currently, five of the six reactors at the plant, which was Europe’s largest when it was operating at full capacity, They are in cold stop mode.

Since the beginning of Russian aggression against Ukraine, the IAEA has been demanding the creation of a safety zone around the plant to avoid nuclear risks.
