Google was launched last year Help me write for Gmail: An AI-powered writing tool that helps users compose emails. The feature can now also process voice input, the tech giant announced at its Google Cloud Next conference. For example, you can record an email and have the Mail app’s writing assistant transcribe it. Google says this is useful for those who want to quickly answer emails on the go.
Additionally, Google is also announcing a “cleaning” feature for its Mail app. This feature converts raw notes into a coherent email with one click. With the Help Me Write feature in Gmail, Google aims to reduce the time employees spend responding to incoming messages each day. The feature is in addition to previous AI-powered features such as: Intelligent answer And Smart composing.
In addition to answering emails, taking notes during meetings can be time-consuming. Plus, it distracts you from the meeting. Google announces one Take notes for meVideo meeting feature with Meet, where you can outsource the minutes to an AI assistant and follow the meeting with utmost concentration.
The function Translate for me Provides you with automatic translations of subtitles during meetings. 69 languages are supported during rollout. Later this year, Google will also introduce live translation and on-demand summaries to Google Chat.
All of this is packaged as a paid add-on that customers can add to their Workspace suite. The add-on costs ten dollars per user per month, in addition to the monthly subscription price.
