“We had a dialogue with TikTok’s regional management. I had an online meeting with Yakub Olek, who is responsible for TikTok’s government relations and public policy in Central and Eastern Europe.
“Several important points were discussed: regulation of the children’s network, Russian propaganda in service and how to counter it,” he said.
The chairman of the parliamentary committee thanked the representatives of the social network for contacting them.
“This is exactly the goal – normal communication through common access platforms and assistance on their side in the fight against Russian propaganda,” summarized the People’s Deputy from the “Voice” parliamentary group.
As previously reported, TikTok discovered more than 12,000 accounts spreading Russian fake content.
