The Ukrainian company “A3TECH-UKRAINE” has successfully assembled and tested the robotic mine clearing machine MV-4, developed using the technology of the Croatian company DOK-ING.
According to Deputy Minister Hanna Gvozdyar, this machine is designed for remote-controlled humanitarian demining and ensures the safety of the operator up to one and a half kilometers. It can work on different types of soil and neutralize different types and types of anti-personnel mines, including those containing up to 650 grams of TNT equivalent.
The machine was tested under field conditions, including explosives tests, to withstand five explosions. Ukrainian experts are actively working on the development of special equipment adapted to local conditions and involving partners with relevant experience in joint production.
DOK-ING MV-4 is a lightweight robotic demining complex that can withstand mine and ammunition explosions. It is equipped with interchangeable tools that allow it to perform a variety of site preparation tasks, including clearing the ground of explosive devices and searching for buried objects. Such machines are already successfully used in demining areas in Ukraine.
