The launch took place at 12:00 Beijing time, after which the group entered orbit soon after.
Owned by GeeSpace, a subsidiary of the Geely Technology Group, the satellite group will primarily be used to research and test technologies such as internet-connected smart gadgets and the interaction of vehicles/mobile phones and satellites. It will also provide data support for the protection of the marine environment.
For the Changzheng launch vehicles, this was flight 422.
