The Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed is a spectacular new gaming keyboard from the Swiss peripheral manufacturer. At first glance it looks small, very small, but the company claims in its presentation that it has come up with an innovative way to compensate for the fact that it lacks some keys compared to a full-sized keyboard.

As its name suggests, the Logitech G Pro X 60 is a keyboard with 60% of standard size. The manufacturer explains this by saying that many professional players, where this keyboard is aimed, prefer this type of smaller design, as it allows them to move the mouse more dynamically during tournaments. A keyboard of this size takes up less space and is easier to place and also easier to carry in a backpack.

While compact keyboards are ideal for competitive gaming, it may lack the number of keys that some professional players need. To solve this problem, the PRO X 60 features an innovative technology called KEYCONTROL, which gives players customization options beyond what a standard keyboard offers.

Added to Logitech’s Ghub software, this feature allows users to assign this keyboard up to 15 functions per keywhich combines it with G-SHIFT, an advanced feature that players can assign to almost any button (just like an action is assigned to the side button on a mouse. This way, players can activate a new layer of keys and get quick access to any key or command directly below the main movement keys WASD keys or any other programmable key on the keyboard.

Otherwise, the keyboard has high-end features such as GX optical switches, dual PBT keys, RGB backlighting for individual keys, Bluetooth and Lightspeed wireless technology from Logitech on which it works.

The Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed will be available later this month in white, black, or pink, in variants with different types of switches, tactile or linear. Its price $179 (€229 in Europe) It is very high, comparable to the advanced features of this extremely compact keyboard, but with the features of a full-sized keyboard.
