Adobe presents the new beta version of Frame.io V4, focused on an improved work experience where users can create and manage their entire workflow on one platform. New features such as different tag options, detailed feedback options and a flexible metadata framework ensure a more efficient creative process.
Adobe has paid a lot of attention to workflow management with this new version of Frame.io, similar to platforms like Asana or Monday. The previous version of Frame.io allowed users to share, rate, and approve media assets, but the fourth version significantly expands these capabilities.
For example, there is the updated review and approval process that allows users to provide detailed feedback on files. This feedback can be added at specific locations in the media file to direct the feedback to the correct element as accurately as possible. These comments can also contain attachments, emojis or hashtags.
One of the most notable additions is the metadata framework, which allows users to fully personalize their workflow. The flexible metadata framework in V4 Beta lets you easily tag, sort, and group assets into collections to create a custom workflow for your team. This framework also offers 32 meta fields and flexible custom fields such as status, selection, rating, responsibility, and more. This makes it easier to filter to track progress.
With this fourth release, Frame.io gets a major overhaul with improved new features that make it easier for users to do their work as a team efficiently. With Frame.io V4, creatives don’t have to rely on multiple applications to manage their workflow, but rather everything is bundled into one platform. The updated version is also available for iPhone and iPad.
