MSI updates its desktops with the latest products from Intel and NVIDIA

MSI Vision Elite It is the flagship model of the desktop series that the Taiwanese manufacturer has just updated, which also includes other models in the series. Aegis, Infinite and Codex.

Desktop computer sales have been in sharp decline for the past decade. Laptops have become the star product in computing, so we don’t have a lot of them on the market, apart from what comes from the Mini-PCs, which sell quite well. We have a much smaller selection in the tower format, and most of them are maintained by component-based enthusiasts. But every now and then we get announcements as interesting as the one at hand, which is that MSI has refreshed its entire line of desktop towers.

MSI Vision Elite, impressive

The manufacturer uses one of its most advanced chassis, the MEG Maestro 700L, to create its flagship desktop computer. It is a unibody design made in aluminum and tempered glass 270-degree one-piece design that offers a panoramic view of internal components. The truth is, it looks fabulous.

Also inside with top specs as it installs the most advanced components from Intel and NVIDIA on its own MSI Z790 board. So install the processor Core i9-14900KF and a dedicated chart GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING TRIO 24G, in one of the best combinations that can be installed on a PC today.

MSI Vision Elite

It can fit up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory at 5600 MHz (32 GB x2) and a 2 TB SSD. Its connectivity is top-notch, with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5G Ethernet LAN, and plenty of ports. The source has a high capacity, 1000 watts. The price of this configuration with some of the most powerful components in its segment is high: $4,299.

MSI has also refreshed the rest of its tower desktop catalog, starting with infinite series which offers the same powerful hardware but on a lower scale. It is mounted on the MEG Prospect 700R chassis, which offers support for up to 10 cooling fans and dedicated space for installing a custom EK breakout board for custom water cooling. It includes the option to equip graphics up to RTX 4090 with liquid cooling. Price starts at $3,600.

The manufacturer also updated two other series, Aegis and Codex, with a new chassis that features different fronts including mesh designs and ventilation through an aluminum side panel to improve airflow and performance. They include the latest generation of Intel processors and dedicated graphics of the NVIDIA RTX40 series. Aegis prices start at $1,900, while the cheaper Codex offers configurations starting at 980 dollars.
