At the upcoming NAB trade show, Western Digital will preview its latest range of SD cards and HDD solutions.

Western Digital previews its new range of technologies and storage solutions for complex media and entertainment workflows. At the upcoming NAB trade fair in Las Vegas, Western Digital will be showing, among other things, a 4 TB UHS-I memory card and an external HDD solution up to 192 TB.

4TB SD card

Western Digital’s memory card lineup expands to include memory cards up to 4TB to help high-resolution videographers get the most out of their work. The 4TB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDUC UHS-I Memory Card is the world’s first 4TB UHS-I SD card to offer massive capacity in an SD form factor. This SD card is based on the SDUC (Secure Digital Ultra Capacity) standard, which allows up to 128 TB.

The map is expected to be released in 2025. In the same line-up of new memory cards, Western Digital is also introducing the first large-capacity 2TB UHS-I SDXC card to capture more high-resolution images on a single card, as well as the world’s fastest 2TB UHS-I microSD card. The 2TB memory cards are expected to be available this summer at authorized retailers, online retailers and the Western Digital Store.

New HDD solutions

In addition to the range of new memory cards, Western Digital is also expanding the SanDisk Professional range of HDD solutions. The highlight of this new series is the 192 TB G-RAID SHUTTLE 8, a portable 8-bay hardware RAID solution. It supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 configurations and offers transfer speeds of up to 1,690 MB/s read and 1,490 MB/s write in standard RAID 5. The Rugged external storage box is useful for organizations that need local backups or move large amounts of files.

This range also includes other SanDisk Professional products such as the 24TB G-DRIVE, 24TB G-DRIVE PROJECT, 48TB G-RAID MIRROR and the 96TB G-RAID SHUTTLE 4. All new Western Digital product ranges will be available on the NAS his grant will be taken into account.
