More than thirteen million Ecuadorians will flock to the polls next Sunday. referendum convened by the Presidential Government Daniel Noboa and answer eleven questions in the main areas of its management, especially those related to security, justice, investment and employment.

1. The role of the Armed Forces

4. Hourly contracts

Noboa intends to make employment contracts more flexible with temporary and hourly contractsconditions that are not currently provided for in Ecuadorian law and through which the government believes it can create new jobs and also stop illegal migration to the United States.

5. Constitutional courts

The government is proposing to create a constitutional court system with chambers of first and second instance that are responsible for hearing appeals such as protective actions and habeas corpus, which are currently heard by any judge, which has led to conspiracies of litigation. corruption that allowed drug traffickers and criminals to be released despite convictions already handed down.

6. Tougher penalties

Ecuadorians will vote too if they want toughen penalties for the crimes of terrorism and its financing, drug production, drug trafficking, organized crime, murder, assassins (murder for hire), human trafficking, kidnapping for ransom, arms trafficking, money laundering and illegal mining.

7. Abolition of prison benefits

Likewise, the possibility of deprivation of persons convicted of financing terrorism, recruiting minors for criminal purposes, kidnapping for ransom, drug production, illegal mining, illegal possession and carrying of gangs, extortion, influence peddling, solicitation of influence peddling and cover-up, so that they serve their entire sentence in prison.

8. Military in prisons
