SAMSUNG Bringing its AI expertise to more Galaxy-branded devices. The company first introduced Galaxy AI alongside its latest flagship smartphone lineup in January 2024 Galaxy S24. This feature now appears in the series Galaxy S22 and other Galaxy devices.
Galaxy AI feature appears on older devices with the One UI 6.1 update. It is planned to be available for previously released Samsung smartphones and tablets. Here is the list of all eligible devices:
The brand had previously shared this listing, but at the time it was assumed to be the South Korean release date. But now we have official confirmation of global availability. The devices mentioned above will receive the update in early May 2024, in line with our previous report.
For those who don’t know, Galaxy AI will be integrated with the One UI 6.1 update and will bring many features such as Circle to Search with Google. Samsung also confirmed the arrival of Chat Assist, Translator, Live Translation, Note Assist, Browse Assist, Transcript Assist, Productive Editing, Suggestion Editing, and AI-based background images.
