Tanium has introduced Tanium Automate, a new addition to its Converged Endpoint Management (XEM) platform.
Tanium Automate is designed to simplify automation tasks and integrates with existing components such as Tanium Guardian. The tool also works with Microsoft Copilot for security within the Tanium XEM platform.
With Tanium Automate, IT teams can automate manual processes for repetitive tasks. This includes patching software, deploying applications, and reusing unused software licenses.
The tool allows teams to automate these tasks with little to no coding, contributing to operational efficiency and freeing up time for more strategic projects.
The new solution also enables companies to quickly respond to security risks through automatic notifications of emerging issues such as zero-day vulnerabilities. The tool learns and adapts to the environment, identifies and prioritizes risks based on their critical safety assessment, and recommends actions for operators.
Tanium Automate is currently in preview for customers and will be generally available within a few weeks without requiring a separate license for existing users of the platform.
