The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced that the asteroid 2021 GT2 will fly past Earth on June 6.

According to NASA, the diameter of the space rock is from 37 to 82 meters, and its speed – more than 26,000 km per hour.
The asteroid is expected to safely miss our planet at a distance of more than 3.5 million kilometers.
It is stated that after June 6, the next approach of the 2021 GT2 to Earth will take place on January 26, 2034. Then the distance of the space stone to our planet will be at least 14.5 million km.
