Rumors about the existence of alien technologies in the US government do not stand up to criticism, said Bill Diamond, chief executive officer of the SETI Institute, an American non-profit scientific research organization.
Diamond also noted that the possibility that alien civilizations still exist and that we will receive evidence of this cannot be completely ruled out.
The director of an institute dedicated to researching extraterrestrial intelligence believes that any extraterrestrial civilization capable of traveling between star systems would have technology beyond human understanding compared to that of Earth.
Most likely, if aliens decided to visit Earth, they would send here not a ship with living creatures, but a robotic probe. Thus, Diamond touched on the famous Roswell incident of 1947, when, according to conspiracy theorists, an alien ship crashed.
