Acer has announced the international launch (also in Spain) of the new Chromebook Plus 514, a new laptop running Chrome OS, this time relying on Intel processors from the Alder Lake-N series that play so much in this segment. input range.

The new Acer notebook continues the design line of the AMD model with a chassis that supports the MIL-STD 810H military durability certificate and its weight is estimated at 1.43 kg. Its screen is IPS 14 inches, with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 300 nits brightness and wide viewing angles. The manufacturer will offer the option of mounting a touch panel.
The processor debuts inside Core i3-N305. Development of the Alder Lake-N platform with eight cores and eight threads, a maximum frequency of 3.8 GHz, 6 Mbytes cache and TDP consumption of 15 watts. It is complemented by 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB for internal storage.

It supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 As wireless standard, it has a 1080p webcam and a wide selection of ports that include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (one on each side) that support fast-charging battery charging up to 11 hours of autonomy.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 514 (model CB514-4H/T) will be available in Spain from June at a price starting at 479 euros. The international price is 399 dollars.
