The HUAWEI Band 9 is a new quantification bracelet from a Chinese manufacturer and promises improved design, health functions with a new sleep tracker, sports capabilities or long battery life.

HUAWEI repeats the screen size of the Band 8 with a panel 1.47 inch AMOLED, a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels at a screen-to-body ratio of 65%. Relatively narrow frame for the bracelet with 2.5D curved glass and curved cover plate, making the device visually attractive and comfortable to wear with a weight of only 14 grams.

Smart bracelets, like smart watches, are mainly designed to offer data on sports and health activities. For this version, HUAWEI introduced the TruSleep 4.0 sleep tracker, which provides information about the quality of the user’s sleep and comprehensive options that provide comprehensive data to help users get a more complete picture of the activity that half of the population is dissatisfied with.

The HUAWEI Band 9 has other features that, together with the high-performance PPG sensor, fulfill a heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring. The technology detects breathing disorders during sleep with normal, low, medium and high results and provides interpretations and suggestions for improvement, helping users manage their health during sleep and identify risks early.

When it comes to sports activity, the manufacturer offers the TruSport training system, which supports 100 sports modes, including running, cycling, swimming and jumping, covers a wide range of popular and common sports activities. Another function is TruSeen, compatible with a wide range of health management functions and, in addition to the mentioned sleep monitoring, it has stress detection, menstrual cycle management or arrhythmia analysis.

The bracelet offers longer battery life compared to previous models, a total of up to 14 days of autonomy (9 days of typical use), always according to the manufacturer and in ideal conditions that are not normally reproduced in the real world. It supports fast charging, just 5 minutes can last 48 hours.

HUAWEI Band 9, availability and price

Today, the numbering bracelet is available in five colors (black, white, lemon yellow, pink and blue) and in fluoroelastomer material, which the manufacturer promises durability, comfort and a pleasant touch. This model features a new quick release technology for easy, tool-free strap changes that are completed in just 3 seconds.

The official price of the new HUAWEI bracelet is 59 euros. As an introductory offer and until May 12, if you buy two bracelets, the price of the second piece is reduced to 39 euros. In addition, the manufacturer has launched Mother’s Day promotions on its web portal, which can reduce the price of the bracelet by 10%. The bracelet’s smart functions are compatible with mobile phones with EMUI, iOS and Android operating systems.
