After the first event in 2024 with the introduction of the Vision Pro, it’s that time again on May 7th with new product launches. The focus of the invitation is the Apple Pencil, a not-so-subtle hint that the new iPad models are coming.
It was in the stars that new iPad models would appear in 2024. The rumors about the OLED version of the iPad Pro continue. According to reports, the iPad Air is also being renewed. In addition to the standard 10.9-inch version, Apple is working on a larger 12.9-inch variant. Striking: Not a single new iPad model was announced in 2023. Never seen before in Apple’s iPad history.
Will more be announced? Personally, we would have expected a press release about the new models unless Apple had more in store for us. WWDC 24, Apple’s developer conference, will take place on June 10th. We expect big (AI) announcements sooner.
