With the latest Photoshop beta, Adobe wants to eliminate the blank canvas that everyone starts with. By entering text you can now create a start image that you can build on.

A year after introducing generative AI to Photoshop, Adobe is expanding its AI tools in the program’s latest beta version. The most important innovation is AI via text input. With this, Adobe hopes to lower the barrier for both professionals and casual users to get more out of Photoshop.

Erin Boyce, marketing manager at Adobe, sums it up: Engadget. “A big, blank canvas can sometimes be the biggest barrier. Generative AI accelerates time to creation. The idea of ​​bringing something from your head to the screen has never been easier.”

The new feature is simply called Generate Image and will be available as an option in Photoshop in addition to the traditional option that allows you to import images into the app.
