With the new AMBER Alerts feature, a notification will now appear in your Instagram feed whenever law enforcement activates it when you are in a specific child search zone,” he said.

In the coming weeks, the new feature, supported by law enforcement in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Mexico, will be available to users in 25 countries, including Ukraine.

It is stated that in 2015, the AMBER Alerts feature was made available on Facebook. Since then, a special alert has helped locate hundreds of children in the United States and around the world.

As Ukrinform reported, Darya Herasymchuk, adviser to the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights and Child Rehabilitation, said that a record of children missing in special circumstances in Ukraine should be established.
