The Ezzeldin al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), released this Wednesday a video of an Israeli-American hostage identified as Hersh Goldberg-Paulineheld in the Gaza Strip following attacks by Palestinian militias on October 7 during an electronic music festival in southern Israel.

In a video compiled by the pan-Arab Al Jazeera network, Goldberg-Paulin confirms that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government “They should be ashamed.”

“You should be ashamed that you abandoned us for 200 days. All the army’s efforts failed.“He said, referring to the offensive on the Gaza Strip after the October 7 attacks.

The hostage, who appears to be dressed in red on a white background and has an amputated arm, states in the undated video that Israeli air force bombings kill 70 kidnapped people who remain in the Gaza Strip.

In addition, he accused the Israeli government of refusing agreements on the release of hostages. “Don’t you want to end this nightmare?” he asks, adding that many hostages lack the water, food and medical care they so desperately need.
