This week, the OnePlus Pad Go, an economical version of the model with which the Chinese company debuted on the electronic tablet market, arrived on the European market. And it’s as expected: the same base, but cheaper.

Positioned as a mid-range electronic tablet, it retains some of the premium features of the OnePlus Pad that we reviewed at the time. It also has the same basic design and size with a multi-touch screen 11.35″ IPS diagonal.

The first differences between the OnePlus Pad Go and the higher version can be seen in the lower native resolution (2408 x 1720 pixels), a refresh rate that drops to 90 Hz from 144 Hz previously, and maximum brightness drops from 500 to 400 nits.

Its SoC engine has also been downsized, although as with the screen, the differences aren’t that big. Compared to the Dimensity 9000 OnePlus Pad, the Go version has a mount and MediaTek Helio G99 with eight ARM cores and integrated Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. It packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, both at slower standards than the original.

It has an 8 Mpx rear camera with image stabilization and another 8 Mpx front camera. The capacity of its wireless standards is also lower, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, although it must be said that the ‘Go’ model has a function that the more expensive version does not have, support for LTE mobile broadband networks. The configuration is completed by a sound system with four speakers and Dolby Atmos and a USB Type-C port for charging and data.

The OnePlus Pad Go comes pre-installed with its own OxygenOS 13.2 interface built on top of Android 13 and is available for sale in Europe for 299 euros. The price is much lower than the 499 euros that the OnePlus Pad officially costs, although you can find it at retailers like Aliexpress for a lower price.
