Biden blamed Putin for Navalny’s death

Navalny, 47, died after feeling ill after walking around the prison where he was being held, according to the Russian prison service.

Last December, Navalny was transferred from a prison in the Vladimir region, less than 200 kilometers from Moscow, to a prison in Dzharpa, above the Arctic Circle, near the Ural mountain range.

Navalny survived a poisoning attempt with the chemical agent Novichok in 2020, and his health has become a source of growing concern after he went on hunger strike between March and April 2021, during which he lost a lot of weight.
