The company SpaceX has launched a new $1 program for 30 days (“30 days for $1”) in order to attract new users of its Starlink satellite Internet service. Within the scope of this initiative, anyone who wishes is given a satellite terminal where they can test for 30 days for only 1 dollar.

The company normally charges new users $599 for the Starlink Satellite Internet Terminal, which includes the new V4 antenna and Wi-Fi router. But now, thanks to the launch of the $ 1 for 30 days program, the user has more time to decide how suitable the Starlink service is for him before paying for the terminal. 30 days after the initial activation of the Starlink antenna, the user can continue using the service or surrender the SpaceX terminal by paying $599.

If after the 30-day test period the user still refuses to subscribe to the service, he will have to pay the full cost of delivery when returning the Starlink terminal. Additionally, the customer will have to pay $120 per month to use the Internet during the test period. However, SpaceX will refund the service fee if the consumer chooses to return the terminal within 30 days, according to the company’s website.

Consumers were previously able to return Starlink equipment within the first 30 days of use and receive a refund, but they had to prepay for the terminal and internet access.

Starlink’s 30-day trial program is available to new customers in Australia and New Zealand, as well as some states in the US. The Starlink terminal can also be purchased from Home Depot, which offers a 90-day return guarantee.
