Starting today, you can interact with the Copilot AI assistant in Dutch as part of your Microsoft 365 subscription.
You have been able to use Copilot in Dutch since day one, but not the Copilot Pro variant in Microsoft 365. Until today, you had to ask your questions in English. That’s changing now. Microsoft is adding official support for 16 new languages, including Dutch.
For example, Microsoft 365 subscribers with a separate Copilot subscription can use the AI assistant in the same language as the free version that has been available in Edge and Windows 11 for some time.
Microsoft emphasizes that the new languages are still in a learning process. “Currently, Copilot for Microsoft 365 may not understand all slang terms or language conventions in a given language. We’re continually improving Copilot’s voice features and encouraging users to provide us actionable feedback. We continue to expand the list of supported languages and will have more to say in the coming months.”
You can read here whether the “Pro” in Copilot Pro is worth it today at 22 euros per month in addition to the Microsoft 365 subscription.
