China will send three astronauts to complete the space station on Sunday

The People’s Republic of China is scheduled to launch a spacecraft with three astronauts inside on Sunday to the unfinished module of the Chinese space station, where they will live and work for 6 months.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Reuters with reference to the Manned Flight Program Office of the People’s Republic of China (CMSA).

It was noted that the Long March-2F rocket with the Shenzhou-14 spacecraft will launch from Jiuquan Cosmodrome in northwest Gansu province at 10:44 local time (5:44 Kyiv time).

“All preparations for the launch are largely complete,” the CMSA said. Said.

This mission will reportedly be the third of four manned missions and the seventh of eleven missions required to complete the space station by the end of the year.

China reportedly began construction of a three-module space station in April 2021.
