Rare is the week in which NVIDIA does not play in some interesting newswhether in relation to its products or services: there is no Thursday that misses its weekly meeting with GeForce Now, the addition of new DLSS-compatible titles is also quite frequent, and it is also increasingly common to hear about updates to some of its applications and reviews of its technology. But this week it seems they’ve decided to crush the scoreboard as we find new developments on those four fronts.
The first one, which we already informed you about yesterday, is new version of ChatRTX and as you can read in more detail in this publication, it includes two new LLMs, adds options for the chatbot to use your own files (text and images), and also allows for voice input. If you have an RTX 30 or 40 series graphics adapter with 8 or more gigabytes of VRAM, it’s best to try it yourself.
Although game-enhancing technologies are within the reach of all developers who are interested, NVIDIA doesn’t forget modders either and incredible upgrades that casual players can enjoy from their hand. The biggest example of this is NVIDIA RTX Remix, an application with which it is possible to make big changes in the graphics part of games. The first example of it working can be found in Portal Prelude RTX, a complete remaster of this unofficial prequel, and which allowed us to verify the large number of improvements that can be used with this tool.
After some time in closed beta, the tech company decided to expand the scope of NVIDIA RTX Remix earlier this year, making the move to public beta, and now we find the most interesting update to come to the tool since then, and it’s this week added compatibility with DLSS 3.5which, as you already know, offers the feature of ray reconstruction using artificial intelligence, a technique that is less demanding than native ray tracing and therefore significantly improves the gaming experience with the same graphics adapter.
This week we also find news regarding DLSS compatible titlesbecause two new games are added and the third one, which has undergone an important change, has also made a leap in this sense:
Finally, and as I mentioned at the beginning, NVIDIA does not miss a single Thursday, which, as you already know, is the day chosen to announce the new games are coming to GeForce Now, its successful cloud gaming service. And since it’s the first Thursday of the month, it also gives us a preview of what to expect in May.
Let’s first look at the games that were added this week:
But that’s just the beginning, as we’ll also see all of these games arrive on GeForce Now over the next few weeks:
