The ultimate goal of the scammers is to force the victim to search for SMS codes or enter the necessary USSD command to access the personal account on the operator’s website and have calls and messages forwarded to another number. Through the personal account, you can transfer money to another account, make payments and even withdraw a bank loan with referral.
Officials from mobile operators have already commented on what is happening. They remind that company employees will never ask the subscriber to call SMS codes or enter suspicious USSD commands. After hearing such a request, you should end the dialogue and contact the real support number on the official website to clarify the situation.
