Opera browser for Android received a useful AI tool to quickly familiarize yourself with the content of web pages. The new feature creates a concise summary of long articles and messages, saving time in understanding the topic and searching for important details. To use the Summary feature, you need to update Opera for Android to the latest version and sign in to your account.

The text abstraction tool is based on Aria, Opera’s built-in AI assistant. The user simply opens any text page in Opera, clicks on the three dots in the upper right corner and selects “Summary” next to the Aria icon. This will open a dialog with a brief summary of the article, usually on a single screen.

Such a summary helps you quickly understand the topic, highlight the main points and decide whether it is worth taking the time to read it in its entirety. This is really useful when you need to quickly familiarize yourself with large amounts of information available on the Internet. Additionally, the assistant can now read text responses out loud.

As a reminder, artificial intelligence assistant Aria was integrated into the Opera browser about a year ago. It works as a chatbot that answers users’ questions and is an alternative to traditional Internet searches. And recently Aria added the ability to create images based on text queries using Google’s Imagen 2 technology.

Developers are constantly expanding Aria’s functionality with a special AI Feature Drops update program so that users can receive all the latest improvements to comfortably use all the options of the smart browser.
