Elon Musk, CEO of Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX), shared his extraordinary plans to launch a rocket to Mars. Maska is currently developing a next-generation Starship launch vehicle platform in Boca Chica, Texas. Starship was designed to be the world’s largest rocket when it started operating, and is based on SpaceX’s main goal – making humanity an interplanetary species.

The CEO shared slides from a recent presentation he gave at SpaceX and shared more about his plans to colonize Mars. While the Starship is primarily designed for flights to Mars, the rocket will replace the SpaceX Falcon line for low Earth orbit (IOF) flights and other missions. It is also part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Artemis program, which aims to have a presence on the Moon.

The slide presentation did not contain any key textual or verbal elements and was a combination of key theses that were part of the Mask presentation. However, he managed to convey to us a few important details underlying Starship. The construction of new rockets requires significant investment, and their restoration will require SpaceX to use the rockets for non-Mars purposes.

Starship, for example, is an integral part of SpaceX’s plans to create a constellation of 40,000 small satellite Internet as part of the Starlink online service. It will also provide NASA with a lunar landing module and will be SpaceX’s main vehicle for refueling other spacecraft in space and launching the payload currently used by the Falcon 9 rocket line.

The presentation provided information about the launch of Starlink through a rendering showing the upper stage of the rocket, also called Starship, which launched two satellites into space at the same time.

Musk also confirmed his rationale for developing a rocket that could eventually get humans to Mars. The leader and his company are often criticized for this purpose, and some critics believe that dedicating resources to solving problems on Earth is the best option.

He also revealed how he plans to use Starship to achieve these goals. The rocket consists of two parts. Its lower, or first stage, is a 230-foot accelerator designed to run with 33 Raptor 2 engines. At the top of the launch vehicle is the 164-foot-tall Starship spacecraft and the Starship launch system together, 394 feet high.

When asked what his “plan” was to achieve this goal, Musk replied quite simply, but overall he described the incredible scale of operations the 50-year-old leader plans to launch. According to Mask, the plan is simple. SpaceX will build and launch thousands of starships on Mars in the modern equivalent of Noah’s Ark.

SpaceX is currently building prototypes of the first-stage launch vehicle and second-stage spacecraft at its facilities in Texas. The company has already conducted high-level testing and is currently waiting for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to complete an environmental review of the site in Texas. This will allow the missile manufacturer to apply to the FAA for a launch license as part of a separate and crucial process. Source
