BYD presented Hiace 07 EV, a multifunctional electric SUV built on the new 3.0 Evo electronics platform. This platform promises a powerful and efficient drive. The Hiace 07 EV features a sleek, coupe-like design inspired by BYD’s Ocean Network family. It offers a spacious interior with ample storage space and a unique dual LED logo on the rear.

The company is also launching a mobile app-specific recharge service

The main focus inside is on technology, with a HUD display, crystal gear lever and premium sound system. Standard features include in-car fare collection, smartphone connectivity and voice control of more than 1,000 vehicle functions. Comfort is well thought out, with ventilated/heated seats and a magnetic charging microphone for voice interaction.

BYD is launching a dedicated charging service on the Haiyang App for uninterrupted charging. Safety is a priority, with 11 airbags, advanced driver assistance features (planned to be installed in the future) and a direct tire pressure monitoring system.

The Hiace 07 EV is available with a choice of three powertrains, with two-wheel drive models offering a 230kW or 170kW engine. The total power of the all-wheel drive version is 390 kW. The impressive high-performance engine provides a top speed of 225 km/h. The single-engine model offers a range of 550 km to 610 km, while the dual-engine version offers a range of 550 km.

Moreover, Hiace 07 EV applies fast charging technology, which utilizes the full capacity of most public DC charging stations. With its stylish design, technical interior and impressive range, the BYD Hiace 07 EV looks like a very solid option in the electric SUV market.
