Today, on June 5, during the broadcast of the World Cup play-off match, unidentified people attacked the Ukrainian OTT platform Oll.tv, which broadcast the match between Ukraine and Wales.

According to Detector Media, IZ.TV, which broadcasts in Russian instead of the national team match, was launched, Ukrinform reported.

According to the service’s Facebook page, the attack was carried out by Russian hackers.

“The envious Rusnya is trying to disrupt the viewing of the team’s 2022 World Cup match. The official Oll.tv website is making every effort to neutralize the cyber attack,” said the official.

The broadcast was broadcast on the Indigo TV channel, which also showed the match.

The commentator of the football match, Viktor Vacko, also said on the broadcast of the TV channel that Russian hackers attacked the OTT service. He said, “I don’t know if anyone is watching right now. I don’t know if we’re on the air, but I’ll go about my business. Burn in hell, Russian freaks.”

As Ukrinform reported, the national team of Ukraine could not participate in the 2022 World Cup. In the playoff final of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Alexander Petrakov’s wards lost to the Wales team with a score of 0: 1.
